![]() You also get to tour the underground WW2 tunnels which were used as a hospital for injured soldiers during the war. The castle is well worth the time and money! Beautiful views of the port of Dover and lots of history about the importance of Dover as a first line of defense for England during medieval times. It was breezy and a bit cloudy so we couldn’t see France across the English Channel, but you could definitely still see the cliffs clearly and the view of the cliffs was enough for me! I spent half an hour taking pictures and enjoying the scenery before heading out to Dover Castle (£20.90 admission), which I chose over more time at the cliffs. We had decent weather for the cliffs and it only got better as the day went on. ![]() This was such an amazing trip! Lots of walking, especially if you decide to do Dover Castle, so wear good shoes.
